Pharm.D. Prerequisites

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Prerequisite Courses

The prerequisites below represent the minimum coursework that must be completed or on track to be completed prior to starting in the Professional (Pharm.D.) Program. Applicants who do not have a prior undergraduate degree must also complete UConn General Education Requirements by the end of the BS in Pharmacy Studies, which is awarded after the second professional year (P2).

Science and Math Prerequisites

All courses should be those intended for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors, not for humanities or social sciences majors.
