Each student in the Professional (Pharm.D.) Program is assigned to a faculty advisor. A team of four faculty advisors work with each of the professional years from the first professional year (P1) through the third professional year (P3). During the fourth professional year (P4), students are advised through the Office of Experiential Education for their APPE experiences.
Faculty advisors are key members of the School of Pharmacy advising team, and they work closely with the Academic Advisor for the Professional (Pharm.D.) Program to ensure students are supported as they progress through the program. Faculty advisors are experts in the field, and provide in-depth knowledge in both pharmacy practice and the pharmaceutical sciences. Faculty advisors provide mentorship and support for career paths in pharmacy, research, and academic success.
