Pharmacy Peer Advisors
About the Peer Advisors
Our Peer Advising Team is made up of exceptional Pharm.D. students, who receive special training in advising and mentoring, and possess in-depth personal knowledge of what it means to be a Pharm.D. student at UConn. They work with the Pre-Professional Staff Advisor in a dual advising model designed to provide additional support to our Pre-Professional students. Students accepted into the Peer Advisor Program are required to work a set number of hours per semester and meet with their assigned Pre-Professional caseload.
School of Pharmacy Peer Advisors receive independent study credit for each semester that they participate fully as a peer advisor.
